A new addition to the Echo Park food scene needs to be included for their well edited menu of local and seasonal ingredients. The cafe's attention to sourcing is incredible and the berries in my cashew parfait (made with homemade granola and an LA based yogurt company) were purchased at the Silverlake farmer's market. I will be back to try their grain bowls and smoothies.

One of my favorite hiking spots in the city for the best views of Los Angeles, the variety of paths and beautiful nature. You can experience different levels of intensity, forests and deserts all in one place. Not to mention, the Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood sign are some of LA's most notable landmarks.
